Fear 04:56
Threshold of tolerance You left me wide open You left me with fear Left me with nothing Ripped apart Ripped wide open Not a thing left for you to break Tear out my eyes Tear out my mind Not a thing left for you to take I’ve got the fear, got the hunger in me Running on nerves running to be free I’ve got the motion, velocity Escape from the fear you gave to me Velocity inside of me Return to motion Velocity inside of me Return to safety (That’s what fear is - a warning of danger) I’ve got the fear, got the hunger in me Running on nerves running to be free I’ve got the motion, velocity Escape from the fear you gave to me Velocity inside of me Return to motion Velocity inside of me Return to safety Fear in my mind Fear in me Fear in my soul Fear in me Fear in my heart Fear. Running to be free.

about

From 2004-2005 many different projects were being explored simultaneously. While Zerodivided was the first of the "projects" to isolate itself, eventually the more industrial elements needed a home, and so Sythilix was born. The first demos (not included here...) were fairly comical and almost a parody of what they were trying to be. These demos here are from a window of time where the sound design became stronger, and only some lyrics and vocals crept their way in with varying levels of completion.

Some co-writers came into the project - Devon Brent and Tiffany Gentry. The direction started to go into an industrial metal direction more and more, and unfortunately Michaels focus drifted as other projects took more and more of his time. The later demos with Devon and Tiffany may get dusted off again one day, but for consistency of this release we pared back to the pure electronic demos.

Ultimately significant parts of this project went on to influence both The Wretch and IVILION, while other parts splintered off into another project called Darkfilter, but that's a story for another day.
